The coast that stretches from the St. Anna archipelago in the north to the Misterhult archipelago in the south is perfect for kayakers. Here you will find an incredibly finely cut archipelago with an incalculable number of cobbles and shards.
The paddling is adventurous and eventful with ever new narrow straits to pass and lots of islands to explore. With your kayak you can get right into the smallest bays, there is a good chance that you will be completely alone on the small island where you pitched your tent. Your paddling will also be spiced up with memorable food stops in the picturesque fishing communities. With luck and caution, you will see both gray seals and sea eagles.
From starting points such as Arkesund, Tyrislöt and Klintemåla, it doesn't take many paddles for you to find yourself in the middle of one of the most beautiful archipelago environments we have in Sweden.
The book is written and photographed by Joakim Danielsson and Ylva-Li Göransson. They have both worked as kayak guides in the area. In the past, they have, among other things, skied through the entire Swedish mountain chain and paddled along the entire coast of Sweden.
