The Nordkalottleden is a roughly 800 kilometer long hiking trail that passes through the northernmost parts of Norway, Finland and Sweden through one of Europe's most magnificent and untouched wilderness areas. The trail crosses national borders a total of 18 times and passes 50 overnight cabins and five national parks in the three countries. This is the first book to be published in Swedish about the Nordkalottleden. You get a complete description of the trail, from the starting point Kautokeino in the north to the three alternative final destinations Hellemobotn, Sulitjelma and Kvikkjokk. In the book, the Nordkalottleden is divided into four sections between the locations with the best communications. Each section is suitable for a mountain hike of 8-12 days. Fredrik Neregård is a nature photographer and author who has written a number of popular guidebooks about Sarek, Kebnekaise, Padjelanta and Kungsleden.
