He also wrote three books about hiking, paddling and skating about his home regions in Östergötland. Sam Hedman is a freelance photographer and writer based in Hemavan and southern Lapland. His pictures and texts are often seen in various newspapers and magazines, he is also co-author of a guidebook about mountain hiking in Vindelfjällen.
