The Laplandsleden is the biggest thing that has happened in the Swedish mountains in a very long time – a brand new continuous trail between Hemavan in the north and Borgafjäll in the south. The Lapland trail connects the Kungsleden in the north with Jämtland's mountain world in the south. For the new trail, thirteen bridges have been built, eight kilometers of span laid and one hundred and fifty signs erected. In this map book you will find all the information you need to be able to plan and carry out a mountain hike along the Lapland Trail. The largest part of the atlas consists of detailed mountain maps on a scale of 1:50,000 over the trail's 190 kilometers. You will also receive a proposal for the division of stages and descriptions of each section, as well as information about cabins, suitable tent sites and how to get to the various starting points along the trail.
