The Kalimeen-Isokanka camping area is located a couple of miles east of the center of Oulu. The region, preserved in its natural state, attracts many hikers. There are three hiking trails in the area, of which the Korpilammi game trail presents the environment from the point of view of game management.

Pilpasuo's nature pits challenge the wanderer with his tasks. The Lysti route is suitable for traveling with small children. The 7-kilometer stretch of the Aistireit has a shed, two campfire sites, and long trees crossing the wetlands.

There are two bird towers and several shelters along the 12-kilometer hiking trail of Vitsasuo. No less than 150 hectares of the marsh have remained undrained. In the rolling ridge terrain of Rokua, you can experience a breath of the last ice age. The park belongs to the UNESCO geopark network thanks to its ridge and dune formations. Old natural pine forests are the northernmost places where the ridge species occurs in our country. The fireman's hut at the foot of the biggest fire tower currently serves as a desert hut. Easy-to-navigate terrains are suitable for hiking trips of a day or two. The 8-kilometer Rokuansydän leads to the interesting geology, which runs along the sand dunes and passes Finland's largest Supa Syvyydenkaivo. Tervareittö's one-hundred-kilometer hiking trail follows the Oulujokivartta all the way to Oulu.

Oulujärvi camping area is located on the shores of the Kainuu sea. The backs of the lake are the largest in our country. They are separated from each other by Manamansalo, the northwestern part of which, along with rocky kars and islands with sandy shores, form a camping area. Traces of the Ice Age with its ridges and lagoon lakes are visible everywhere. The area belongs to the Rokua Geopark area. The species represents a transitional area: the common tern does not breed in other inland waters, nor does the Lapland tern and the red-legged plover further south.

Rainbow trout, char, lake salmon and trout are planted in forest ponds popular with fishermen. Excursion trails starting from the Manamansalo Campground go around the open lichen beds, along the beach ridges. Along the paths and on a few islands there are places to make fires, sheds, homes and kitchen sheds, even a deserted hut in Reimikar.

Our map is printed on excellent Tyvek material, which is water-resistant and tear-resistant. So you don't have to protect your map from the rain and your map doesn't tear during use. The manufacturer guarantees that the material will last 20,000 folding times. Thanks to the ingenious division of the pages, all the most important excursion destinations in the area can be found on one map.
