The mountains around the Riksgränsen, Abisko and Kebnekaise are the most popular and well-visited in the country. The area is appreciated by both newcomers and experienced mountain hikers for the possibilities of being able to be comfortable in the warmth of the cabin at the same time that real alpine challenges are right around the corner. The author Fredrik Neregård has been hiking in the area for over twenty years and has worked dedicatedly on this book for the past four years.
